This is a glimpse of DVD2’s cover.
Very colourful, completely different from my usual work.
Even Ciel’s eyes are shiny.
Anyway, we have decided to hold a premiere for “Ciel in Wonderland”!
I’m so excited!! (lol)
So we can show you the OVA as soon as possible.
You will also get to sample the black tea, New Moon Drop, according to the rumor. It’s almost like Alice’s tea party.
Those to be invited will be chosen by lot, (the lottery starts on 26/08) Please see the official website for details.
By the way, editor K has posted the character songs poster on twitter.

I have received the pre-release cds and proposal documents yesterday…
Saitou P discussed all sorts of things with me, and revised the lyrics many times according to characters after the songwriter completed the work. A lot of love has gone into those CDs.
All of them are of high quality!
I hope you will all be singing these songs next time you go to a karaoke bar.
Today’s picture is again Alice-Ciel. I have been asked to do many “Alice version!” of bonuses and covers lately, so I have been drawing Alice-Ciel with ribbon on his head quite a lot.
Accompanied by the over-2m-tall butler with bunny ears or Lizzie with mouse ears.
I guess I have been drawing too many old guys in the manga, so I enjoy doing this, for a change.
I do realise that a man with bunny ears or ribbons might be walking down the wrong path as the protagonist of shounen manga, but I listen to Sakamoto Maaya’s album “Shounen Alice” while drawing and keep telling myself “Alice might as well be a shounen!” (lol)
The big names also said “being cute is righteousness”, so it can’t go wrong. (a bunny eared man doesn’t look cute however..w)
The art board staff have also used bright colours to make them adorable, they look fabulous.
It’s great to have a new set of character designs!
Anyway, I hope you can forget about the dark plot in the anime and jump into the happy wonderland while watching "Ciel in Wonderland". (smile)

I have quite a few announcements to make today.
Good evening, this is Toboso.
◆No.1 Character Songs 01 and 02
TV anime Kuroshitsuji II Character Songs CD 1 and 2 will be released on 25/08!
CD1 is Sebastian, CD2 is Finny, more are on their way. There will be 10 in total!
The artist for CD10 is not yet announced. Who is it going to be? Please stay tuned.（＾＾）
You should be able to find Sebastian and Finny’s character CDs in shops tomorrow.
Please do take a look! I think chaku-uta [music ringtone] download is already available.

Personally I think the best part of the first song is “the lyrics with no explicit eros” to the accompaniment of hard music.
The main scriptwriter Okada-san wrote the lyrics for both songs.
The lyrics are crammed full of Sebastian’s mental fetish (hentai, according to Okada…w), so please have the lyrics sheet in hand and listen closely.
Jeez…such perfect fetish! (lol)
However, there is a huge gap between the two tracks.(in the good sense) Seba-rap is a must for fans.
Ono’s dim whispering singing voice + Seba-rap is brilliant. I’m sure Ono fans will like it too.
This demon is saying this and that, but you can tell by listening to this CD, that he super☆enjoys his butler life in the Phantomhive household.
Finny’s CD is made up of refreshing up-tempo number + country style number.
The first song is cheerful but if you listen closely the lyrics are quite sad…
The song starts telling about all his failures, the flow of lyrics from the beginning to near the end is excellent.
The second track “everyday scenery of the peaceful Phantomhive household” is rather enjoyable.
Very soothing.
Despite repeat failures (a bit too repetitive tho), Finny is always looking ahead full of spirit. He also shows how much he loves young master and his friends.
Kaji-san’s cheerful voice is really adorable.
His “hoi!” shout is especially cute. Make sure you don’t miss it.
To have the servants’ dekoboko-combi [凸凹コンビ, an odd pair, or a two-person team, one tall and the other short] coming out on the same day, it’s my pleasure to send them both to serve you at your place.
The next will be #3 Grell Sutcliff and #4 William T Spears on 01/09.
Can Will manage to make into the show before his CD is out!?

The ED theme “Bird” by Matsushita Yuya aka. Sebashita will also be released on 25/08.
This is a grand ballad different from Matsushita-san’s other songs.
The anime version has sad looking Sebas on cover + Claude on the reverse of the jacket.
Hmm, this is a very interesting illustration... The colour of the sky is very beautiful I love it.
Matsushita-san’s artist version, he’s wearing a white hood in the photo. Quite refreshing.
I have only met him when he’s in that tailcoat, so it’s refreshing to see him dressed in white. (smile)
Still it’s interesting to see both musical Sebas and anime Sebas’ CDs come out on the same day!
Both are beautifully done so please do take a look. （＾＾）

New characters such as Joker and his crew from Circus Arc, Grey from the Phantomhive Murders Arc will also make their appearances.
Errr, 斗墓祖 [she used this pen name last time] will not participate this time, but a new 兎母祖-san will join us.
Nah…that’s not me (sounds a bit forced)
Ciel’s papa and Diederich and Tanaka will meet in a club this time. The average age is a bit high.
By all means please read it if you like Vincent, Tanaka and Diederich.
The highlight…has to be Vincent’s conversation about he’s not the “papa”. (lol)
[I’m not sure about this, it’s difficult to guess what she means without reading the story.]
He addresses himself differently from in the original story, so I’d be glad if you find it interesting.

The red guy still hasn’t shown up in the manga but he’s been active in the anime so we have this cover in support of him.
I’m pleased with the rock-style design!

Personally I’d definitely recommend the deer pudding in the picture, but dumplings of certain character’s image look so awesome I hope you get to see that soon. I have never seen dumplings like that…
The attraction will begin on 02/10. The theme will be “Ciel in Wonderland” the OVA included in DVD2.
What kind of attraction will it be? Let’s wait and see.
We will also issue limited passports, by all means please come and participate!

◆GF September issue all-service merchandise Kuroshitsuji Tumblers
This is what we have been talking about on KSII twitter. I have designed two patterns for the tumbler set which will be released as all-service merchandise.
Two illustrations in silhouette. One with Sebastian and Ciel walking down the streets of London, and the other with both of them at home.
Black silhouette with silver spots, it looks quite chic.（＾＾）
In the London version, I drew the silhouette of the tower bridge. The incomplete form would not look good (wtf is it…), so I drew the complete form… (It was still under construction in the 19th century /smile) However as the symbol of London I couldn’t possibly leave it out. (murmur)
You will receive them in an adorable box so please place your order.
◆Misprint (omission) in this month’s issue
There’s a line missing in chapter 48, please accept my apologies and allow me to correct it.
To avoid spoilers I have posted small thumbnails below. Please click to view the original images once you have purchased the magazine.
[The first one is the actual printed page. The second the correct image. One sentence is missing in the printed version, “そう、私はあの夜殺された”, Sebastian’s monologue “That’s right. I was killed that night.”]

This is what we have been talking about on KSII twitter. I have designed two patterns for the tumbler set which will be released as all-service merchandise.
Two illustrations in silhouette. One with Sebastian and Ciel walking down the streets of London, and the other with both of them at home.
Black silhouette with silver spots, it looks quite chic.（＾＾）
In the London version, I drew the silhouette of the tower bridge. The incomplete form would not look good (wtf is it…), so I drew the complete form… (It was still under construction in the 19th century /smile) However as the symbol of London I couldn’t possibly leave it out. (murmur)
You will receive them in an adorable box so please place your order.
◆Misprint (omission) in this month’s issue
There’s a line missing in chapter 48, please accept my apologies and allow me to correct it.
To avoid spoilers I have posted small thumbnails below. Please click to view the original images once you have purchased the magazine.
[The first one is the actual printed page. The second the correct image. One sentence is missing in the printed version, “そう、私はあの夜殺された”, Sebastian’s monologue “That’s right. I was killed that night.”]

“Betrayed by the demon” or “the demon lied”, do you understand how odd these words sound, or not?
A contractor who looks to the demon to fill the gap in his heart, and a contractor who refuses to let the demon into his heart.
So I overslept and missed ep7…orz
I have been working non-stop since the day before, but I was still awake until about 1 o’clock so I thought “Great, I can make it!!!”
Then I managed to fall asleep on the sofa in the living room holding the remote control.
Oh well, I was drooling in my sleep and soiled the sofa….
This is the second time I missed the episode.
Ahh, for those who have attended the Summer Comiket, thank you!
Thanks to you nail seals from both teams have been sold out! （＾＾） I’m glad nothing left.

After watching ep7, my assistant sent me a mail saying “Sebastian and Ciel are becoming the bad guys (smile)”
And I replied “Isn’t it normal to make him pay for his crime once you catch the culprit? Besides, the most embroiled in the manipulation at the moment is Ciel who doesn’t even realise he’s being manipulated. w
I think the Circus Arc makes it pretty clear that these two are not the type to go easy on their enemies because of their age or circumstances. This is not Mito Komon! He's cute so let's forgive him, this doesn’t make the world a better place. Sensei!”
Then another mail came in “This is true but for a manga it’s too realistic. Kuroshitsuji is a teen manga after all. w”
It’s a teen manga that’s exactly why it has such content.
Those who don’t take responsibility for their own actions are by far worse.
Considering the tension of the situation, it’d be insincere to stop and ponder whether to forgive or not right?
No matter in the manga or reality, it’s not right to think that it’s a minor who committed the crime so all is forgiven.
Well, I’m definitely not saying I dislike it when the bad guys are spared or the case solved because of something fishy among the Hollywood characters and the tension of the situation and magnificent background music!!! (lol)
Anyway I strongly recommended the film “Kokuhaku” [confession] to her.
In that film a boy is not spared simply because he’s a minor, that’s the part I like the most.
Nishii-kun who played Ciel in Kuroshitsuji musical is also in this film. ★
In order to watch the anime in real-time next week, I’m going to work hard this week. I won’t go to sleep until I finish the work…
In the next episode many things will become clear and again many things will happen so until next week★

Today is Friday the 13th.
To have episode 7 air today it’s almost like fate.
I think this is probably the most “devilish episode” in KSII
It elaborates on the Black Butler’s “Black” element instead of “Butler”.
Both Sebastian and Claude are demons who just want to eat meals despite their gentle demeanour as butlers.
Self-serving and hopelessly cruel Demons.
Of course people can be like that too, but they do so with absolutely no hesitation that’s what makes them demons.
Sebastian and Claude are the same.
But just like humans, there are differences between individuals in principles among demons too…
It’s the same either way, Alois and Ciel are the same too.
Both of them are egocentric spoiled humans who obtained supernatural power and use the power to serve their own interests.
Neither of them is “pitiful” or “good”.
But among them I think this episode is the most pronounced in terms of the contrast between Alois and Ciel's distinct behaviours and attitudes towards demons.
Indulgence and rejection.
Everyone in MBS region please support the series!
It’s tonight for TBS region! By all means please watch it in real-time.
The plot is going down a dark path from this point forward. The trend can make it hard to keep on posting those squealing-giggling sketches in celebration of 10,000 followers.
If it becomes too much I’ll put them aside. w

I’m glad to see lots of news and articles on all of them.
I see Harada-san, the storyboard and animator of the first OP, did a lot of drawings *tickle*. I like the hands and graceful poses Harada-san draws!
Animedia’s kana reading “kira men” on kanji “輝男” left me speechless.
[I think the point is, pronounce the kanji “輝kagayaku” as kana “きらきらkirakira”, and “男otoko” as English word men, so “kagayaku-otoko” becomes “kira-men” and still mean the same thing, shinning sparkling men]
It’s like LEON’s “艶雄” (ade-osu) and “艶女” (ade-jo) (lol)
Animage’s “Ladies, Do you know?” style reports once again are interesting!
Okada-san’s interview is rather interesting too.
From Claude’s point of view, Sebastian is a “hentai”? Oh well, I’m not going to deny it. (lol)
Personally I consider Sebastian an eccentric demon, and a demon of leisure maybe. Ha!
Hmm, when a leisured person takes up an excessively demanding job doing all sorts of trivial or awesome things, such person is called “hentai”?
The anime story has taken on the flavours of Ciel’s soul, so I wonder how Ciel’s soul tastes like in the manga?
Still bitter and pungent, doesn’t taste good I guess in comparison to anime Ciel.
After all, does the soul even have flavours? (lol)
This stuff is about 25g it seems. (people weigh 25g less after death)
Such being the case, please buy them if you come across the magazines in bookshops.
Below are some thoughts while watching KSII regarding the flavours of souls.

It’ll start at 02:50. Sorry it’s going to be late.
Hmm, shall I say it’s befitting for a midnight show or what, it seems that this episode makes it exhaustively clear that “Sebastian is a bad guy”.
When I read about this plot in the scenario, I thought “wow…this guy is a demon…poor Ciel” (lol)
He doesn’t lie but he’s seriously hiding something THIS JERK!!!
I feel more so because anime Ciel is slightly naïve and cute in comparison to manga Ciel.
In the manga, while these two keep secrets from others, they don’t necessarily keep secrets from each other (or you can say it’s pointless to do so).
Especially Sebastian is different from before. Somehow in S2 he’s starting to show expressions like a human.
Regardless of the mood, the coming issue of the manga will focus on a low-body-temperature reptile butler as well… Ciel is also the same as always.
My assistant told me “seeing their pin-up it’s like being looked down upon by them all the time, it’s awful!”
Sorry!
Hold on, does that mean whatever the case the anime and the manga have one thing in common “Sebastian is a bad guy”!

Still a long journey ahead towards the ideal cute but wicked deformation. （´Д`；）
There are many half-eye characters so I want to show the half eyes…hmm.
Because it’s for commercial merchandise, I must take into account the size of final product and medium-related reproducible factors and adjust the design accordingly. It’s difficult.
One of the assistants draws ideal deformed arts so I’m grinding my teeth.
Damn! Can’t Sebas be cute?!
(I produced a lot of these “Love Sebas!” drawings lately when I’m tormented by Sebas during work.)
Just some random sketches but they’re so cute I can’t bring myself to throw them away.
